NEW FLYING PATTERN

 Pilots–

If you haven't been out to the SMAC field yet this year, our field orientation has changed (see map). Pilots need to observe the changes and fly accordingly:

1) Do not fly due-west toward Spence Rd. The new flight pattern is to the NORTHWEST, oriented away from our neighbors. This is an important safety precaution and must be observed at all times. 

2) The new orientation requires careful attention to the flight line. Please do not cross the flight line when making your base-leg turns.

3) The change in flight line orientation has eliminated the open expanse that was at the southeastern corner of the field. Please do not park near the southeastern flight line.
