Become A Member Of The Springfield Model Airplane Club (S.M.A.C.)

You must be a member of The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA to be a SMAC member and fly at our field. Go to www.modelaircraft.org and follow the directions. Your AMA membership card will be mailed to you.

Next, make certain to read the SMAC Constitution, By-laws, and Flying Field Rules posted under the "About Us" tab and linked HERE.

There are several ways that you can turn in your completed application:

In person:  Bring your SMAC membership application, check or cash, and AMA membership card to the SMAC club monthly meeting. 

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month:

During the summer, we meet at 7:00 PM at the club field

During the winter months, we meet at 7:30 PM at Asbury Methodist Church, 104 E. Clark Street, North Hampton, Ohio 45349.

Web Application:  You can fill out your membership application online by clicking THIS LINK  You will still need to bring your membership fee to our club meeting, or make arrangements with our club treasurer.

AND...for those that distrust the Internet, you can print out this membership application pdf, fill out the information with a blue or black fountain pen in legible cursive script, and bring it to the monthly meeting.
