It's Official - Snow Flies!

 

The first flurries of the season appeared just in time for Trick-or-Treat, Oct 31.  Local TV meteorologist commented that almost every year this happens has had more snowfall than usual in our area.

SMAC's annual Field Closing Day was held Oct 21.  (This does not mean flying is prohibited, just that the wind sock and charger have been secured for the winter).  With deteriorating weather most of us will soon be focusing on building, repairing, buying and selling - or maybe heading someplace warm until Spring.

Our next business meeting will be held Tuesday, November 7 at Asbury United Methodist Church, North Hampton, beginning at 7:30 PM.  Final arrangements for the November Swap Meet will be discussed so this is a good time to reserve your table (if any are left).  The Swap Meet will be held Friday, November 24th at the VFW Post in downtown Springfield.
