1/3 Scale Fokker D.VII

 On the morning of July 4th several SMAC members got to see Rick B's 1/3rd scale Fokker D.VII in the air.  First flight was a few weeks ago, but a landing gear modification for additional strength was needed before flying again.  The model was built from a vintage Glenn Torrance kit (see April 2025 blog entry) and features printed lozenge camouflage fabric on the wings.  The DA-85 engine provides ample power for scale aerobatics.
