Overcast skies provided a dramatic background for a little flying action Thursday June 13. The wind was a little strong to start with, but dropped to a comfortable level for smaller electric models before dusk.
An unexpected highlight was Professor Crawford's Marvelous Potato Gun. Apparently this started as a classroom demonstration for lab experiments, but was dropped from the program when it proved a little too powerful. You can just see the flying spud in the upper left corner of the picture. (No worries, no one was flying at the time.)
