This Week at SMAC...

This Tuesday at 7:30 is our April club meeting at the Asbury United Methodist Church in North Hampton. It usually is our last meeting at the church for the season.

Although today was a bit chilly, a few members made it out to the field in the afternoon to ride the wind. Todd P. flew his new Mamba biplane successfully for the first time; all it needed was a little elevator pushrod adjustment.

Kurt made a few passes with his Draco- now a brilliant red after a coat of Minwax Polycrylic.

Chad did some fancy bush plane maneuvers before he had to leave. Chad, Rob, and Kurt each took their turn riding the wind with their STOL models. 

MEANWHILE, on the other side of the county, Dr. Balsa and his lab assistant Dave assembled the various crafted parts of the P-39 Airacobra project. Check out the nice wing filet Rick...I mean Dr. Balsa, is making. Not too long now before it's air worthy!
