If you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes...

 ...and it will change.  SMAC certainly saw an instance of this old Ohio proverb at our invitational fly-in June 6.  The day started warm, hazy and windy, followed by a rain squall which shut things down until after lunch.  Briefly the sky cleared and conditions were ideal for about 30 minutes, followed by increasing winds and building humidity as the next round of storms began incubating.

Don't be fooled by this picture, a lot more planes were on hand - fliers had just put them away to avoid the storm brewing in the background.
