Another successful swap meet!

 

In a few short hours the VFW hall was transformed into a bustling swap meet.  Planes, engines, radios and accessories were brought in to fill the tables, changed hands, then went back out the door as fast as they had come in.  Vendor setup began at 6:30 AM, trading ceased about noon and the hall was bare by 1 PM.  Despite the tight schedule SMAC Treasurer Joe F reports a good return and the treasury is now at an all-time high.  Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with setup and teardown, the food concession, collecting money and all the thousand little things required to make this event go.

Our final meeting of the year and annual pizza party will be held Tuesday, Dec 2 at Asbury United Methodist Church in North Hampton, OH beginning at 7 PM.  Rumor has it there will be a drawing for two free membership renewals next year, so members have an incentive to attend.  If you are not a member and would like to get to know the club, come on out - there will be plenty of pizza to spare.
