A Tale of Two Chipmunks

 The morning of August 14 was DH Chipmunk time at SMAC Field!  The Chipmunk is a 1946 designed military trainer which also makes a fine subject for a scale flying model.

Steve B's plane is a Carl Goldberg ARF.  He converted it to electric power and re-covered it in the Pennzoil scheme.

Jim R's plane was built from Precision Cut Kits parts and Ohio R/C plans.  Power is a VVRC 30cc twin cylinder gas engine.
