And - Another Big B-17!

 

SMAC member Rick B. is nearly done with his second large B-17.  It's finished as "Fuddy Duddy", which served as a VIP transport during WWII, then did aerial firefighting and motion picture work.

The model is the same size as the "Memphis Belle" reviewed in November, powered by four 15cc gas engines.

Hopefully, sometime next summer we will see two B-17s at SMAC field - maybe even a formation flight?
