A Big B-17!

 

With flying season winding down, SMAC member Rick B. has one of two B-17 gassers just about ready to fly.

It's powered by 4 15cc gasoline engines

Scale is 1:10, wingspan is 10-1/2 feet.  

Rick is using an 11 channel setup.

Plane is marked as the famous "Memphis Belle", the first B-17 to complete 25 successful bombing missions over Europe during WWII.  She will be joined by an all silver one once Rick has time.
