Happy New Year!

 

No SMAC members attended the scheduled Freeze Fly January 1 at our home field.  However, member Steve B. did go to the Columbus Aero RC Club field near his home in Grove City.  After three flights in 36 F temperatures with a 7-8 MPH wind, Steve says he's ready to wait for a 70 F day!

(Your editor was in comparatively balmy South Carolina, but there wasn't room for a complete RC plane in the car with all the Christmas presents.)

SMAC's January business meeting was held Tuesday the 2nd, but we are informed nothing of major importance was discussed.  The annual Fun Fly is scheduled for June 1, so at least we have something to look forward to though snow is forecast this Saturday.
