Saturday Flying

Good times this morning at the SMAC field. Our club President Rick Barch brought out his outstanding Pilatus Porter. I mean BIG Porter.

Rick helped one of our members trim out his gas-powered biplane. Well- he tried to trim it out, but the ailerons maxed out before the plane would fly straight! One awkward flight...land. Second flight...well, it was short. Do you know what it sounds like when a plane crashes into corn? Luckily, the plane was okay.

 We even had a classic Telemaster out at the field, complete with a vintage O.S. four stroke and parachuter!

Once the sun hit its apex we all packed up and split. Too hot!
