July's Saturday Fun-Fly

Perfect weather today for our July Saturday Fun-Fly; calm air, mild temperature, and no sun beating down on us! Three members came out to SMAC field, bringing with them a nice variety of electric and glow planes.

 Bob showed us how it's done, hanging his biplane on the prop and doing some slick acrobatic maneuvering:

We also witnessed a spectacular wing failure over the runway. Coming out of a fast dive, the front wing mount on a Parkzone FW-190 broke loose from its glue, sending the wingless fuselage skipping down the runway, and preventing the plane from breaking into little foam bits!
